Tonight’s pairing is cozy enough for a slow evening but easy enough for a busy weeknight: creamy Tuscan chicken with a crisp Pinot Grigio.

Tonight’s Meal

Creamy Tuscan Chicken

What You’ll Need

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, drained and sliced

  • 2 cups fresh spinach

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Cooked pasta, rice, or crusty bread for serving

Easy Directions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 5–7 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through. Transfer it to a plate.

  3. Lower the heat and add the garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds, then stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan.

  4. Add the sun-dried tomatoes and spinach. Simmer gently until the spinach wilts and the sauce thickens.

  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the top, and warm everything together for 2–3 minutes.

  6. Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread.

The Perfect Wine: Pinot Grigio

A chilled Pinot Grigio is a great match because its bright citrus flavor and crisp acidity cut through the creamy Parmesan sauce. Its clean finish also balances the richness of the chicken while letting the garlic, spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes shine.

Wine Shopping Tip

Choose a dry Italian Pinot Grigio with notes of lemon, green apple, or pear. Serve it well chilled—about 45–50°F—for the freshest flavor.

Why Moms Will Love It

It feels restaurant-worthy, comes together in one skillet, and the sauce makes simple chicken feel special. Pour a glass, grab some bread for the extra sauce, and dinner is done.
